More than 10,000 people attended this year’s Open Weekend during a very sunny weekend in May and the feedback has been incredible.  Hundreds of children and adults enjoyed a selection of 60-minute taster sessions on the water from the team at Port Edgar Watersports, the largest watersports and activity centre in Scotland.  Meanwhile more families relished the thrilling 30-minutes Rib rides under the three Forth bridge run by the team from Maid of the Forth.

New to this year’s Open Weekend was a collaboration with pop-up specialists, Rouge Village who brought their popular Canteen Street Food Festival to the marina.  WOW – what an amazing atmosphere they created, from the music selection from Four Corners DJs to the fun kids’ entertainment.  But the wide selection of food and drink on offer was really outstanding, so much so that numerous people visited the marina on both days!

The Marina’s own Down the Hatch café was joined by vendors including ShrimpWreck, Chick & Pea, Meat Stack, Pizza Geeks, The Big Blu, Spice Pots, Moo Pie Gelato, Herringbone, Poco Prosecco, Ferry Brewery and Mimi’s Bakehouse.  They were all really fantastic and all played a part in making our Open Weekend a great success.
